Locate the safety on the left side of the airsoft gun.
Make sure the hammer is pulled back and the slide is forward.
Push the safety all the way up covering the red dot for “ON SAFE” (Fig. 2A). The
safety is not “ON SAFE” unless it is pushed all the way up and the red dot is NOT
showing.
Like all mechanical devices, an airsoft gun safety can fail. Even when the safety is
“ON SAFE”, you should continue to handle the airsoft gun safely.
NEVER point the airsoft gun at any person. NEVER point the airsoft gun at anything you do not intend to shoot.
B. To Take the Airsoft gun “OFF SAFE”
WARNING:
Keep the airsoft gun in the “ON SAFE” position until you are ready to
shoot. Then turn the safety to the “OFF SAFE” position.
Point the gun in a SAFE DIRECTION.
Locate the safety on the left side of the airsoft gun.
Push the lever down to either the rst or second position for “OFF SAFE”. When you can see the RED dot, the
airsoft gun is “OFF SAFE” and can be red.
3. Installing and Removing the 12g CO
2
Cartridge
A. Installing a New CO
2
Cartridge
WARNING:
CO
2
cartridges may explode at temperatures above 120°F (48.9°C). Do not
mutilate or incinerate them. Do not expose them to heat or store CO
2
cartridges at tempera-
tures above 120°F (48.9°C).
Put the airsoft gun “ON SAFE” (see Section 2A) and point in a SAFE DIRECTION.
With your hand under the magazine, press the magazine release button.
To remove the piercing cap, use the enclosed hex wrench and turn counter-clock-
wise. (Fig. 3)
Insert the new CO
2
cartridge into the airsoft gun with the small neck of the CO
2
cartridge inserted rst.
Using the hex wrench, tighten the cartridge piercing knob by turning it clockwise. If
you hear a hissing sound when piercing the gun, tighten the piercing cap more.
To make sure the cartridge has been pierced, point the airsoft gun in a SAFE
DIRECTION, take “OFF SAFE” (see Step 2B) and pull the trigger.
If the airsoft gun does not make a popping noise after pulling the trigger, the CO
2
is not being discharged. In that
event put the airsoft gun “ON SAFE” (Step 2A), and tighten the piercing knob a 1/4 turn.
Point the airsoft gun in a SAFE DIRECTION, take “OFF SAFE” (see Step 2B) and pull the trigger.
NOTE: We recommend the use of Crosman
®
Powerlet
®
12g CO
2
cartridges. They are made to t your airsoft gun.
Other brands of CO
2
cartridges may not t properly and if forced into place, may result in injury to you or damage to
your airsoft gun. Never force any CO
2
cartridge into or out of place.
Do not store your airsoft gun with a CO
2
cartridge in it. If you know you will not be using your airsoft gun for an
extended period of time, empty the CO
2
cartridge and remove it from the airsoft gun (Step 3B).
This is an important step as it will prolong the longevity of your airsoft gun seals.
B. Removing CO
2
Cartridge
WARNING:
Keep hands away from escaping CO
2
gas. It can cause frostbite if allowed to
come in contact with skin. Always make sure the CO
2
cartridge is empty before attempting to
remove it from the airsoft gun by slowly turning the knob counter-clockwise all the way until you
no longer hear the escape of CO
2
gas.
Put the airsoft gun “ON SAFE” (section 2A) and point in a SAFE DIRECTION.
With your hand under the magazine, press the magazine release button.
Use the enclosed hex wrench to slowly turn the piercing cap counter clockwise allowing any remaining gas to escape.
Remove the cap and drop out the CO
2
cartridge.
Replace the piercing cap when the gun is not in use.
4. Loading and Unloading Airsoft BBs
A. Loading Airsoft BBs
Put the airsoft gun “ON SAFE” (section 2A) and point in a SAFE DIRECTION.
With your hand under the magazine, press the magazine release button.
Pull and hold down the BB follower tab (g. 4)
Insert up to 26 airsoft BBs into the BB loading hole on the front of the magazine.
Place a nger over the end of the magazine where the BBs will exit.
With the magazine pointed in a safe direction, release the BB follower tab.
NOTE: Releasing the BB follower tab too quickly, or without the end covered, may allow BBs to exit the magazine.
Your airsoft gun is now loaded and ready to re, after reading the entire manual, including section 8 on reviewing
safety.
NOTE: This airsoft gun has been developed with a blowback feature, which allows the gun to automatically re-cock
after each trigger pull. You need only cock your air pistol manually once when you load the CO
2
. In addition, when
the BBs have been shot out of the clip, the airsoft gun will not fully re-cock and the slide will remain in the rearward
position. To continue shooting, place the gun “ON SAFE” and reload BBs, following section 4A. If you are done
shooting de-cock the airsoft gun by placing your thumb on the hammer and pulling the trigger as you slowly guide
the hammer into the forward position.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE BLOWBACK FEATURE
EMPTY CLIP
When the clip is empty, the airsoft gun will not fully re-cock, and the slide will remain in the rearward position. To
continue shooting, place the gun “ON SAFE” and reload BBs following section 4A. Release the slide by pressing the
slide release lever (g. 4). The airsoft gun is cocked and ready to re after taking “OFF SAFE”.
EMPTY CO
2
CARTRIDGE
As the CO
2
is consumed, the cartridge may not have enough CO
2
to re-cock the airsoft gun, and the slide may
remain in the forward position. Put the airsoft gun “ON SAFE” and follow section 3B on removing the CO
2
cartridge.
NOTE: The faster you shoot the gun, the faster you will use up the CO
2
. For OPTIMUM CO
2
EFFICIENCY, pause 5
seconds between shots.
B. Unloading Airsoft BBs
Put the airsoft gun “ON SAFE” (See Step 2A).
Point the airsoft gun in a SAFE DIRECTION.
Remove the magazine by pressing on the magazine release button.
Pull and hold down the BB follower tab.
If a BB is still visible in the top of the magazine, push the BB out of the magazine.
Aim the airsoft gun in a SAFE DIRECTION; insert the magazine into the gun, take it “OFF SAFE” (See Step 2B)
and re.
Repeat this procedure several times until you are sure you are no longer ring BBs.
NOTE: The airsoft gun must be charged with CO
2
when following these steps but remember, do not store your
airsoft gun with a CO
2
cartridge in it.
WARNING:
Even though you go through the unloading procedure, continue to treat the
airsoft gun as though it were loaded. Do not point at anything you do not intend to shoot.
Adjusting the Hop up
Your airsoft gun is manufactured with an adjustable hop-up system. The purpose of this
system is to change the spin on the BB as it leaves the muzzle, allowing you to adapt
your shot for different distances.
Put the airsoft gun “ON SAFE” (see Section 2A) and point in a SAFE DIRECTION.
With your hand under the magazine, press the magazine release button and put the
magazine aside.
Press and hold the slide release button while turning the release lever. (Fig. 5A & 5B)
Move the slide forward and remove. (Fig. 5C)
Using a small screwdriver turn the hop-up adjustment screw- turn clockwise for
more hop-up, turn counter-clockwise for less. (Fig. 5D)
Verify the recoil guide is in properly.
Line the slide up with the gun and pull it all the way back. (Fig. 5E)
Turn the release lever to the locked position.
5. Aiming and Firing Safely
You and others with you should always wear eye protection to protect your eyes.
Always point your airsoft gun in a SAFE DIRECTION.
Do not shoot at hard surfaces or at the surface of water. The airsoft BBs may
bounce off or ricochet and hit someone or something you had not intended to hit.
DO NOT re-use airsoft BBs because they could possibly cause damage to your
airsoft gun.
Your airsoft gun is designed for target shooting and is suited for both indoor and
outdoor use. Always remember to place your target carefully. THINK about what
you will hit if you miss the target.
Your airsoft gun is correctly aimed when the front sight blade is positioned exactly in
the notch of the rear sight. The top of the front sight blade should be even with the
top of the notch in the rear sight. The bulls-eye should appear to rest on the top of
the front sight. (Fig. 6)
When you are sure of your target and backstop, and the area around the target is
clear, take the airsoft gun “OFF SAFE” (section 2A) aim and pull the trigger to re.
6. Maintaining Your Airsoft gun
Putting 1 drop of Crosman 0241 Pellgunoil
®
on the tip of every CO
2
cylinder will help
to maintain your airsoft gun. DO NOT use petroleum distillate based oil or solvent
and DO NOT over-oil as this can cause damage to your airsoft gun.
DO NOT MODIFY OR ALTER YOUR AIRSOFT GUN. Attempts to modify the airsoft
gun in any way inconsistent with this manual may make your airsoft gun unsafe to
use, cause serious injury, especially to the eye and will void the warranty.
If you drop your airsoft gun, check to see that it works properly before you use it
again.
If anything seems changed, like a shorter or weaker trigger pull, this may mean worn
out or broken parts. Call Crosman customer service for assistance before using your
airsoft gun again.
A. How to clean the magazine
Remove the magazine.
Wipe down the outside of magazine.
Spray a small amount of Crosman Nitro Lubricant oil into the BB tube.

With the patch on the rod, insert the rod into the barrel to clean.
Swab the barrel 3-4 times.

Remove the magazine.
Insert the tapered end of the cleaning rod into the barrel.
CAREFULLY and slowly apply more pressure until you push the BB out of the breech.
Reinstall the magazine and test the gun.
7. Reviewing Safety

You and others with you should always wear eye protection to protect your eyes.
Always wear eye protection over your regular glasses.
Use 6 mm plastic BBs only.
Do not reuse plastic BBs because they could cause possible damage to your airsoft gun.

someone or something you had not intended to hit.
Replace the backstop if it becomes worn. Place the backstop in a location that will be safe should the backstop fail.
Your backstop should be checked for wear before and after each use. All backstops are subject to wear and will
eventually fail. Replace your backstop if the surface is worn or damaged or if a ricochet occurs.
Do not attempt to disassemble or tamper with your airsoft gun.
DO NOT MODIFY OR ALTER YOUR AIRSOFTGUN. Attempts to modify the airsoft gun in any way may make
your airsoft gun unsafe to use, cause serious injury or death and will void the warranty.
Using unauthorized repair centers or modifying the function of your airsoft gun in any way may be unsafe and
will void your warranty.
